The perfect peaceful getaway after exploring Riverston! Riverston Glade is a newly built, exceptionally clean property that offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. If you're coming from Matale town after hiking and hitting the view points, this is the ideal place to unwind and recharge. Highlights of our stay: - Views: Stunning front-facing mountain views where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset on a clear day, accompanied by cool breeze from the Knuckles Mountain Range. - Amenities & Rooms: Rooms are spacious and spotless, and the property features two swimming pools. Private parking is available on-site. - Service & Food: The young staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had local rice and curry for our meals, and it was delicious! - Practical Tip: Mobile signal can be spotty in the mountains, but Dialog coverage works fine here. An Amazing Stay at Riverston Glade Villa! We had an amazing stay at Riverston Glade Villa! We booked the family room, and it was perfect for our family. Two beautiful swimming pools with breathtaking mountain views. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The food was delicious and freshly prepared by the caretaker. The staff were extremely friendly and always checked on our comfort throughout our stay, which made us feel very well looked after. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The shower had hot water with excellent water pressure, which felt fantastic after a long day outdoors. The villa is located in a beautiful surrounding, and the entire place is quiet, calm, and peaceful. We were the only guests during our stay, which made the experience even more special—we truly enjoyed having the place to ourselves! Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable stay. A perfect 5/5 stay to wrap up our Sri Lanka trip! We spent 3 nights at Riverston Glade as a family of 4, and we absolutely loved everything about it. It closed our trip to Sri Lanka in the most beautiful way. -Rooms & Comfort: Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. The shower was hot with excellent water pressure—which felt fantastic after a long day outside. - Relaxation & Atmosphere: Total peace and quiet with stunning mountain views. The property has so many cozy corners to unwind: sun loungers to catch some sun, rocking chairs on the shaded terrace, and comfortable outdoor sofas. - Facilities & Activities: Two very pretty swimming pools and wonderful hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. - Food & Service: Every single meal was delicious, and the service was genuinely top-notch from start to finish.
